Tucson, AZ-based alt rockers Remember The Monsters have always seen themselves as a ragtag bunch of guys trying to make some tasty jams. But coming up in a highly saturated local scene made this task more arduous than imagined, so with each subsequent release their music became bigger, more muscular as the band became more driven to standout from the crowd.
After officially forming in 2016, they began relentlessly gigging, dropping a few tightly produced singles along the way. Their slim discography is a result of their lengthy recording process which emphasizes the melodic interplay of hulking riffs and fierce vocals. Apparently these tasty jams are methodically executed, and have been substantiated by local AZ press along with features on Spotify’s Discover Weekly playlist.
Comprised of Ashten Banks (lead guitar), Dom Ruiz (rhythm guitar), Julian Comeau (vocals), and Sean Mott (bass), Remember The Monsters is gearing up to release their latest single / music video “Sink,” produced by Matt Good (lead guitarist of post-hardcore band From First to Last.) “Sink” is about recognizing the destructive behavior in others before it drags you down. “We tend to deal with our raw emotions on issues” reflects band spearhead Ashten Banks. “We recognize our flaws and often say the stuff you can't or won’t say.”
Name: Julian Comeau
Role: Lead Vocals
